Celebrating three years....

... of unemployment freedom.  Do I miss Texas ?  Well, of course I do.  I spent the majority of my life there.  So many major events took place there.  I met the love of my life in Dallas, my son was born in Garland.  We wandered nearly every section of the state.  David introduced me to fishing and we wet hooks in both the lakes and the coast.
After his passing in 2001 and my son went off to find his love,                I did create my new normal.
It has taken time to transition to North Carolina life. Not quite what I had hoped for, but it never is.  It is its own way of being and my new normal.
Oh, and I was always free.
