Not my circus, not my clown...

...oh, wait a minute.  It is my clown.  What started as a cabbage patch doll head, a few blocks, and a biscuit
tin is now a planter.  The eyes are glass eyes left from another project & the pink cheeks are buttons.
Added a small dog button on bottom just for the fun of it.

Assemblage (n)

Defined as:  a work of art made by grouping found or unrelated objects.

Using miniature mannequin heads for the starting point....Created  Queen of Roses, Queen of Hearts, Queen of buttons and clown (this is head from broken doll)
Each using found materials such as stamps (hair for roses), door hardware, plastic trophy (queen of roses) tinker toys, old water turn off knob, and wood post caps.  Then the fun started as the pieces came together.
They are between 7 & 8 inches tall.  Check out the little bird in with the button base.

Award winning day....

... because I took the time to prioritize creations in the works that is.  First on board is the trophy planter.  First Place for "Least Likely to Bloom".  Little plastic salvaged trophy on wooden post cap.  The award plaque is printed on salvaged tissue box {didn't know it was silver lined until separated for altered trading cards).  The silver piece was treated with digital grounds so I could run it through the printer.

And while glue drying during various stages of assembly, colored these plastic feathers for some future project.  Used alcohol ink and gold additive.
