Today is full of possibilities..

...and other stuff.  A little box that is recipient of citra solv papers, wall paper samples, metal enhancements colored with alcohol ink and a strange little top knot created from game pieces and buttons.  Oh, and feet are antique ceramic draw knobs.  And color...lots of color (thank you Carla Duncan for inspiring me yet again).
If you are wondering "is this available for purchase?" .  The answer is yes - just email me and we can discuss shipment.

Create your own Sunshine..

...using citra solv papers, alcohol ink on transparencies, sun face salvaged from a wind chime and wooden button plugs.  Cut the trees from citra solv and enhanced all ground and trees with fine point ink pen.  Background has stenciled designs to enhance sun and add texture.
Still need to add finish to all papers - but need to have a dry warm day for that.
Debating on adding the phrase "create your own sunshine" on the surface .... what do you think ?  add it or not ?

Another product review....

and it is all good.  Stripped the last fiasco of materials from the shelf - and changed colors in the process.  Then applied DecoArt Media Crackle Glaze.  Put on a thick layer and then allowed it to dry. About 3 hours later (layer was thick for larger cracks) applied overcoat to enhance the cracks.

And then proceeded to add enhancements -

Did enhance top...but not quite ready yet for sharing.

Product review...

... and it is not pretty.  Have a wooden shelf that I painted some interesting colors and then had the brain cramp that was "Let's crackle the surface".  I thought I had used Americana Weathered Wood crackle medium before but did not remember the results.  Well I do remember it now.  HORRIBLE !  One, the paint did not crackle.  Two, it is this horrid plastic surface that peels off.  What a waste of time and materials.  This time - though hate to add to landfill - into the trash with a nearly full container!
Doing my best to remove the remainder of the paint / medium.

Update on purchasing...

... I had relied on my Facebook Deja vu Designs USA Shop for primary contact for sale of various creations.  Well, FB has updated their shop requirements that now include sharing of TID (SS#) and banking information.  Well that is not going to happen.  FB has been victim of enough hacks to make me wary of sharing such personal information on FB.
I will be expanding my blog to include a central page for listing all available items for sale.  If interested, I can be contacted via the blog or direct email (listed on contact page).  Additionally, I will look into resurrecting my Etsy page.  I have handled all payments via Paypal or Square and will maintain those accounts for future sales.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for following my creations and news.
