Another idea turned into an item....

... Purchased these little containers {approximately 1-1/4" - 1-1/2"} during the after Christmas sale.  Not sure how they were to be used as a Christmas decoration - perhaps with mini trees and snow.  But I knew they would be perfect to trap mermaids, fairies and even a castle.
The fairy was a button, the mermaid a metal embellishment with shells that are jewelry pieces, and the castle a game board piece {colored with copper leafing pen}.  The glass is quite thin and I managed to poke a round hole in the mermaid glass - but a shell covered it perfectly.
Working on assembling items for mini gardens and these will be used there.
