Can't always believe what you are told...

...particularly when weather is the subject.  During my visit in May 2013 and visiting with new acquaintances, I have been informed that snow is a rarity and if it should fall, it is gone within 24 hours.  Evidently this winter is the exception to the rule.  Snow began lightly falling around noon yesterday and let up at 11 last night.  Good thing I believed the weatherman this time and moved the firewood indoors - was quite pleasant last night and toasty warm...


 Today I am being cautious [probably overly so] and staying home with ventures out for a few photos.  Supposedly it will be quite warm this weekend so I will capture the snow while it lasts.
