It started as a cleaning project....
..and became an assemblage. Found I had numerous pieces of things that just did not fit and, worse, the stack of things was growing. So I set up a work table and attempted to stack, arrange and just see what might go together...
and it did. This is a board from a "fairy door" that was a door prize {disassembled it obviously}, a photo of a bike from a free local magazine {applied decoupage matte and then removed the paper),die cut chipboard trees with textured paint applied....and then the quote that brought it all together:
Granted, the stack is not that much smaller, but I am pleased with what came together.
Weather has been amazingly pleasant for January in North Carolina. Last week did have a few cold mornings while today it reached 60 degrees with the promise of a few more days of like weather. Did go out one cold morning and took photo of the beautiful frost on my car windows - - and I can only imagine what neighbors thought if they witnessed the flash on my camera.
Made a road trip to Kernersville...and visited Korners Folly ~ ~ photos to follow.

"Live for road trips and bike rides with music in your ears and the wind in your hair"
