About Deja vu Designs USA

Altered art is seeing things for what they are not.  It is assemblage, collage, repurposed and salvage art.  The materials I use are old magazines, scrapbook papers, books, found objects and citra solv altered papers.  The objects altered range from canvas, shutters, books, serving trays, driftwood, and wooden boxes.  I find in objects what they are not.

Déjà vu is defined as having “already seen”.  With altered art, you have seen the items, but not necessarily as they currently exist.
I have been assembling / creating thing for many years.  I love the challenge of repurposing items and seeing what they at times turn themselves into.

If you have any questions or wish to place an order, just send an email.
